Sources and methodology
Where the method comes from, how the texts are written and checked, what the dates on each page mean, and how to report a mistake.

Sources
The calculation, the 36 positions and their names follow Natalia Ladini's Destiny Matrix method (2006). The 22 Arcana are the Major Arcana of the tarot. The tarot birth cards follow Mary K. Greer's method.
How the texts are written
The descriptions of the Arcana and the positions, and the reading for each Arcana in each position, are drafted with the help of an AI language model, working from the method. The drafts follow fixed rules: speak to the reader directly, make no predictions and claim no certainty about the future, and in Polish and Russian use wording that fits every reader whatever their gender.
How they are checked
What can be checked is checked against the method: the formulas, the position names and the Arcana numbers. Automated tests compare the calculator with reference charts worked out by Ladini's method, such as the one for 2 February 1998. The readings are interpretation, not fact: they are written to stay faithful to the Arcana and position they describe, and a passage that turns out wrong or unclear is rewritten.
Dates and updates
The reference pages show when their text last changed. The date comes from the site's version history: it moves when the descriptions or readings on that page change, not when only the layout does. Pages without such text, like the calculator, show no date.
Corrections
Found a mistake in a formula, a name or a translation? Write to newsletter@getlifematrix.com and name the page. The text is corrected on the page itself, and its date moves with the change.
